Disc 2: Rare Videos
In the early 70’s, the director of the program, Michael Lekebush (Michael Leckebusch) returned to the live format. What was a great rarity for TV programs of that time, and not only Germany. The invited artists enjoyed playing live on the set, often without limiting themselves to 1-2 numbers, and sometimes giving whole “concerts” for 30-40 minutes. The next issue of the program included, as a rule, 1-2 numbers from such concerts. Thus, in the archives of the transfer, about 400 videos accumulated, never being broadcast .
Some of these concerts were shown in 2008-2009 on the 1festival channel as part of the transfer of Vinyl – The Lost Concerts .
A complete list of the videos not shown in the transfer archives is available in the bookBeat-Club: alle Sendungen, alle Stars, alle Songs .
(in brackets – the number of the transmission for which the video was recorded and the date of its broadcast.)
